Group Ayurveda Practice Classes
We offer a series of ongoing Ayurveda Classes at Bristol Yoga Studio. Special 1-hour Ayurveda Practice with Mary Guerenabarrena – Asana, Meditation, Mantra, Discussion and Practice.
Drop in for $15 ($10 students/seniors) or use your group class card for these classes, just as you would for any other class at Bristol Yoga Studio. There is no need to register in advance. Come to one or all sessions, whatever suits your schedule. This schedule is subject to change, so please check back often or visit our Calendar Page to add these events to your calendar to get automatic updates.

Ayurveda Explained - an Introduction to Balancing your Life

Learn how yoga's sister science can positively impact not just your health but your life. Come and be introduced to nature's 5 elements and learn not only how they manifest in your life but how to balance them. We'll explore how the elements come together to form the doshas. Learn about your natural state (prakruti) well as your current state (vrikruti) and how Ayurveda can help you balance your life.

Ayurveda for Springtime - Finding Health and Balance in Transition

Springtime is nature's transitional season, come learn how to harness that energy into your own life. We'll explore how Spring's opportunities for health, balance, weightloss. You will learn the benefits of a seasonal routine (ritucharya) and how to develop and put your own into practice.

5 Personal Ayurvedic Consultations held after each monthly group seminar. You and Mary will meet to build a personalized Wellness Plan based on your unique nature, state of health & healing goals. Each consultation will take the group seminar knowledge and integrate it into your Healing Plan while supporting the incorporation of your plan into your diet, life-style choices and daily routine. Meditation - learn a daily meditation practice of innocence and surrender. Receive ongoing support via personal guidance and group meetings.
Workshop Series – Attendance at any of the Winter Workshop Series – topics include Introduction to Ayurveda, Ayurveda for Menopause, Ayurveda for Springtime (Value $105)

Ayurveda Practices and Education at Bristol Yoga Studio are offered by Mary Guerenabarrena
Mary Guerenabarrena is an Ayurvedic Consultant and Yoga Educator. Her work combines Ayurvedic lifestyle counseling, yoga, diet and nutrition, and herbal remedies, to assist her clients in regaining balance in the body, mind, and soul. Mary has over 1,200 hours of professional training in this area. She is a graduate of The Kripalu School of Ayurveda in Lenox, MA, and is a professional member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) and the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA). Mary has also served on the Board of the Rishi Center in Newport, Rhode Island. She is a Cho Dan (Black Belt) in Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan. She feels her blend of yoga, meditation, breathing techniques, and the martial arts has helped her achieve a higher level of consciousness, relaxation and peace. Her goal is to help others do the same.
