Prenatal Yoga

Offered by Tracy Cooper Ramos

Comments from a yogi mama who took prenatal yoga at Bristol Yoga Studio:

"The breathing methods I learned in your class allowed me to naturally deliver with no medication. I really feel like I wouldn't have been able to do it without knowing to focus on breathing during the contractions. Thank you again." -D.H.

Below is a posting for a study. This study is NOT held at Bristol Yoga Studio; please see the seperate contact information below.

Are you pregnant? Are you feeling sad, stressed, or overwhelmed?

If you answered yes, then you might be eligible for Free Gentle Prenatal Yoga Classes as part of a research study. The purpose of this project is to understand whether prenatal yoga can help pregnant women who are feeling stressed, depressed or down. If you are between 12 and 26 weeks pregnant, age 18 or older, and do not already practice yoga regularly, we invite you to call us for more information. When you call, we will ask you a few questions to find out whether this project might be a good match for you. Women enrolled in the program will be invited to attend gentle prenatal yoga classes held at Memorial Hospital with trained instructors. Women will also receive a yoga mat and a prenatal yoga DVD for home practice. YOU MAY BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE TO LEARN MORE, CALL RENEE AT 401-455-6377.
