Bristol Yoga Studio offers a blend of hatha yoga styles and is available to all experience levels.
Our teaching is influenced by many traditions, including Kripalu, Anusara, and Ashtanga. We offer four types of classes at Bristol Yoga Studio: Restorative, All Levels, Anusara-inspired (all levels), and Prenatal. What does this mean? In a nutshell... ... if you are interested in practicing yoga for relaxation, meditation, and to cultivate lots of body awareness, you should come to a Restorative Class. ... if you are interested in learning yoga asanas (postures), building core strength, and getting lots of instruction in postural alignment and breathwork, an All Levels Class is for you. ... if you are pregnant and want to learn some breathing and asana techniques and meet a great group of folks who are also in the same boat, head to Prenatal Yoga. ... if you are interesting in learning the techniques of anusara-inspired yoga, refining poses to improve strength, flexibility, and come to Anusara-Inspired Yoga. Classes have yoga philosophy weaved throughout and are designed for any level with total support from the teacher through her hands on adjustments, modifications where needed, props and sense of humor. That said, we mean it when we say that all classes are available to all levels. We are not just teaching asana, but yoga, so please feel welcome to come to any class that suits your schedule.
