Patricia Shaw Schneider offers Anusara-Inspired classes at Bristol Yoga Studio. Patricia has been studying yoga for 10 years trying many different styles until she found Anusara. "I remember thinking towards the end of my first class - I have no idea what they're talking about (loops, spirals, organic extension) but I know I have just taken the most fantastic class. I learned so much about how to place my body from the teacher. I was amazed at all of the information taken with me from one class!" Patricia spent 20 years in the fitness industry including full-time ski teaching in Vail, Colorado. She found the bio-mechanically correct Anusara yoga practice which allowed her to go deeper into each pose with proper alignment. From Barrington originally, she is a professional portrait / still life painter, an avid gardener and recently moved to Warren, RI where she lives with her husband. She also teaches art classes in Tiverton, Portsmouth and Newport to adults. She has one son who practices law in Providence, where he lives.
